Details on the musical "The Canterville Ghost"

"THE CANTERVILLE GHOST" is adapted from a charming, funny and magical story by OSCAR WILDE

Synopsis
The story tells of a haunted mansion in England which has been rented by a family of American tourists.  The Ghost howls, moans and presents himself with a disembodied head - but only to discover that the family are not remotely frightened and consider him rather amusing.  He is forced into retirement and an eternity of sorrow ...unless the family can help break a magic spell to release him from his earthly chains...

"The music, a nice mix of Broadway and Vaudeville, consistently hits the spot...It is not difficult to foresee a bright future for this musical".  (THE STAGE)

"Sends you home with a light step, a tune in your head and a smile on your face."
(THE MORNING NEWS)

"It has everything - a strong story, vigorous action, memorable tunes, and enough charm to see it through many generations to come...Excellent!"  (THE GAZETTE)
